Ryan Long otherwise known as DJ RL, is a shining example of turning at what the Chester Youth Conference is all about!! At only 20 years old, DJ RL has ascended to the top in a noteworthy fashion. At 14, DJ RL's mother, Parella, purchased him a set of turntables. It took only one year for DJ RL to turn Dj'ing into a paying profession. Surprisingly, what initially got him known as a Dj was his ability to produce music. DJ RL gained a reputation among radio jocks for having Bangers. He became a supplier of music for some of radios hottest DJ's including Dj Diamond Kuts, Cosmic Kev, Dj Khaled, DJ Wallah of Hot 97 and others. This ironically brought attention to his other talents and soon landed him in one of the top radio stations iin the country. When asked what has made DJ RL so fortunate, he replies: "As a DJ, we all play the same things but it's how you play it, how you promote and how you brand yourself that makes the difference. I take two to three hours out of every day to practice. You need practice, you’re never too good. I listen to other Dj's to see what they're playing and to see if I'm missing something. I like to stay on top of my game.... “ Ryan, also attributes much of his success to a supportive, solid team which includes YBE and his managers Shawn & DJ Ridd.
